McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) says it may miss year operating income growth target. Comments were made on the Company's conference call today following its second-quarter 2012 earnings report. The Company said growth might be at or below its 6 percent to 7 percent target.
With its last quarterly report, McDonald's noted that it "does not generally provide specific guidance on changes in comparable sales. However, as a perspective, assuming no change in cost structure, a 1 percentage point increase in comparable sales for either the U.S. or Europe would increase annual diluted earnings per share by about 3 cents to 4 cents."
Shares of McDonald's are 2.8 percent lower Monday.
