IBM (NYSE: IBM) is trading up 1.9 percent following better-than-expected bottom-line results in the second quarter, although the top-line missed. Investors are also reacting to lifted guidance.
IBM reported Q2 EPS of $3.51, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $3.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $25.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $26.28 billion.
Sees FY12 EPS of "at least" $15.10, versus the consensus of $15.06.
