Shares of Digital Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE: DLR), Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX) and Internap Network Services Corp. (Nasdaq: INAP) are all weaker Wednesday as investors react to "longer sales cycles" comments from Digital Realty.
Early Wednesday, preannounced leasing activity for for the second quarter. The company said while activity improved from Q1, it is seeing elongated sales cycles.
While weighing on the stocks today, analysts at Wells Fargo said the commentary is not surprising and they continue to high degree of conviction in their outlook for EQIX and INAP. The firm has an Overweight rating on both stocks.
Shares of DLR are down 5 percent, EQIX is down 3.3 percent and INAP is down 0.5 percent.
