Gray Television, Inc. (NYSE: GTN) today announced summary preliminary results of operations for the three month and six month periods ended June 30, 2012 ("second quarter of 2012" and "first half of 2012", respectively).
Sees preliminary revs of $94.7 million, compared with prior guidance of $86.5 million and Street views looking for revs of $86.2 million.
Gray attributes the increase in political net revenue primarily to political advertising associated with the special gubernatorial election in Wisconsin; a state where it operate three television stations.
