Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share, or $1.8 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on August 22, 2012, to stockholders of record on July 27, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of July 25, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 7.2 percent.
