Patriot Coal (NYSE: PCX) 34.9% HIGHER; shares are continuing higher following a nearly 34 percent run-up on Tuesday. The Market Vectors Coal ETF (NYSE: KOL) rose 3.7 percent on Tuesday and is up another 0.7 percent today.
Asure Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASUR) 23.6% HIGHER; acquired PeopleCube and boosted its outlook.
Microvision Inc. (Nasdaq: MVIS) 20.0% HIGHER; bouncing following a substantial slide in June which saw shares go from $3.40 down to $1.60, a 53 percent drop.
James River Coal (Nasdaq: JRCC) 18.9% HIGHER; bouncing with the rest of the coal sector. James River Coal has been a momentum play on the coal group recently.
VisionChina Media Inc. (Nasdaq: VISN) 22.3% LOWER; Cuts guidance. The Company estimates its advertising service revenue to be between $28.0 million and $29.0 million, compared to the previous guidance of $40.0 million to $43.0 million. Houston American Energy Corp. (NYSE: HUSA) 16.3% LOWER; announced test results on the C-9 sand in the Cachirre #1 well. While the well had heavy oil shows (6.0 to 6.8 gravity), the Cachirre #1 well was unable to produce oil during swab tests and, as a result, will be plugged and abandoned. After plugs are set, the drilling rig will move to the Zorro Gris well location to begin drilling operations on the next well on CPO 4.
Ambow Education Holding (NYSE: AMBO) 14.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.14), $0.43 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at RMB374.83 million versus the consensus estimate of RMB394.2 million. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of RMB440-RMB460 million, versus the consensus of RMB571.99 million. Sees FY2012 revenue of RMB1.9-RMB2.1 billion, versus the consensus of RMB2.15 billion. CFO Gareth Kung resigned.
Verso Paper (NYSE: VRS) 13.3% LOWER; some profit taking following a 48 percent surge on Tuesday amid news of a possible business combination with NewPage Corp.
Feihe International, Inc (NYSE: ADY) 13.2% LOWER; moving lower as China cut it benchmark interest rate for the second time in about a month.
Coronado Biosciences (Nasdaq: CNDO) 13.0% HIGHER; continuing to bounce following the closing of an offering on June 27th. Shares rose 6 percent on Monday and another 8 percent on Tuesday. The stock is over an important technical level at $6 today.
Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) 13.0% HIGHER; moving higher following positive comments from CEO Reed Hastings.
