Gold Down $45 to Under $1,570/Oz, NYMEX Oil Down $2 to Under $80/Barrel (GLD) (USO)
Commodities sector under very heavy pressure Thursday: gold is down about $45 to around $1,569 per ounce, NYMEX crude oil is down about 2.7 percent to $79.20 per barrel. Over the last three trading sessions, gold is down more than 3.5 percent and oil is down more than 6 percent.
Both the US Oil Fund ETF (NYSE: USO) and SPDR Gold Trust ETF (NYSE: GLD) are down 2.3 percent at last check.
