Emerging Market Investors Breath a Sigh of Relief as Markets Rally

June 6, 2012 4:59 PM EDT
Emerging Market stocks were lifted on Wednesday, with iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index (NYSE: EEM) gaining 2.92 percent. The move offers relief to investors in this sector who have been punished all month, as EEM took a haircut of nearly 14 percent before today's rally. The move higher is related to prospects for further QE in the U.S. and hopes for a potential solution to the crisis in the EU.
