Wells Fargo upgraded HEALTHSOUTH (NYSE: HLS) from Market Perform to Outperform, price target range maintained at $20-$24.

Analyst, G ary Lieberman, said, "We are upgrading shares of HealthSouth based on a combination of absolute and relative valuation (near its 5 year trough) and risks (economic, financial and regulatory) that are low compared with its peers and with those the company has faced over the prior 3-5 years. We are increasing our 2013 EPS estimate to $1.43 from $1.41. The company has said that it expects to come in at or above the high end of its $1.32-1.39 guidance range."
