Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Joy Global (NASDAQ: JOYG) price target of $96.00.

Analyst, Andy Kaplowitz, said, "While we think JOY management is likely to strike a cautious tone on its upcoming F2Q12 earnings call, we think much of the downside from a weaker U.S. coal environment and likely slower global mining capex trends beyond 2012 are reflected in JOY's current stock price."

Kaplowitz sees the company/stock getting back on track, sensing the company will maintain FY EPS guidance of $7.40-7.80. Also, strong backlog and exposure to aftermarket products will limit downside risk to earnings. On the upside, recent acquisitions could help benefit quarterly or annual earnings.
