Benchmark maintains a 'Buy' on AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) price target of $38.00.
Analyst, Josephine Millward, said, "AV is tentatively scheduled to report its Q4FY12 results in late June. We expect the company to report an in-line quarter and to provide solid FY13 guidance. Per our note on March 16, AV needed additional small UAS orders to meet its Q4 and FY12 guidance. Based on the two Puma orders announced in April ($26 million) and the company’s funded backlog of $85.5 million, we believe AV will likely meet consensus sales and EPS estimates of $112 million and $0.71 for Q4 and meet full-year guidance of $321-$336 million in sales and $1.28-$1.35 in EPS."
