Traders should watch shares of Quest Software (Nasdaq: QSFT) Friday morning following a Bloomberg report late Thursday which suggested Dell (Nasdaq: DELL) could be kicking the tires on the company.
The rumor follows a March 9th merger agreement between Quest and Insight Venture Partners. The deal is valued at about $2 billion, or at $23 per share in cash. Shares of Quest are up more than 30 percent since the merger was first announced.
The stock is up nearly 4 percent to $26.15 Friday morning amid the Dell rumor.
