Mid-America Apartment Communities (NYSE: MAA) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.66 per share, or $2.64 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on July 31, 2012, to stockholders of record on July 13, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of July 11, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3.9 percent.
