Shares of Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) have led the Casino & Gaming sector lower throughout much of Thursday's session as Wells Fargo's Cameron McKnight issued a note this morning suggesting the company's Cotai Central property has yet to draw visitors to Macau. The analyst believes this could be due to physical bottlenecks at the border of Macau and, moreover, said this could also be constraining infrastructure development.
The comments follow recent data from Chinese officials showing the slowest visitor growth to the region since the beginning of 2009.
Las Vegas Sands shares last traded at $47.58, down more than 1.2 percent from Wednesday's close.
