Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Emerson (NYSE: EMR) price target of $64.00.
Analyst, Shannon O'Callaghan, said, "We think Process is running even stronger than the company expected, and we think Process can drive Emerson to some of the best organic growth in the sector over the next few quarters. Total EMR organic sales for the single month of April were up 9%, exceeding the company’s forecast. The company indicated that May and June are trending on plan and backlog conversion will drive 4Q. This all lends support to EMR’s guidance amid heavy skepticism."
