Osiris Therapeutics (OSIR) Volatility Up as Shares Move to 10-Month High

Osiris Therapeutics (Nasdaq: OSIR) is seeing heightened volatility as shares continue higher Monday.
Market data has implied volatility up 5.5 percent from last Friday's close to 71.7 percent.
Last Friday, Osiris said it received market authorization from Health Canada to market its stem cell therapy Prochymal (remestemcel-L), for the treatment of acute graft-vs-host disease (GvHD) in children. Shares popped 5.5 percent following that announcement.
Osiris stock is up an additional 26 percent Monday to the highest levels seen since last August.
