NASDAQ OMX (NDAQ) volatility increases on Facebook IPO

NASDAQ OMX (Nasdaq: NDAQ) fell 4.4% on Friday on the delay of open of Facebook and some trades in a 19 minute time window didn’t get executions requests or got delayed trade confirms. Wells Fargo says’ “Fallout from IPO creates uncertainty, revenue impact minimal but monetary restitution are unknown.” June put option implied volatility is at 39, September is at 37; above its 27-week average of 34 according to Track Data.
