Hot Topic (HOTT) Volatility Elevated into Q1 Numbers; Retailer Expected May Swing to Profit

Hot Topic (Nasdaq: HOTT) volatility is up about 8 percent heading into the close Wednesday and 137 percent above its trailing annual average.

The Street is currently looking for EPS of 8 cents on revs of $171.6 million. Numbers compare with a loss of 1 cents on revs of $161.3 million in the same period last year.

Shares are down 1.6 percent late Wednesday.
