Shares of United Technologies (NYSE: UTX) pushed into positive territory just ahead of 10am ET Tuesday morning following a Reuters report suggesting TPG and Carlyle may be considering a $3.5-$4 billion bid for the company's Industrial units.
After trading to an intraday low of $75.61, United Technologies shares last traded at $76.34, up about 0.5 percent from Monday's close.
