Home Depot (NYSE: HD) is trading 3.7 percent lower in pre-open action Tuesday following in-line Q1 results and FY guidance that was below the Street.
The home retailing giant reported Q1 EPS of $0.65, in-line the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.81 billion versus the consensus estimate of $17.93 billion.
Sees FY2012 EPS of $2.87, ex-items, versus prior guidance of $2.79 and the consensus of $2.91. Sees sales growth of 4.6%.
