Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is nearing the IPO of its shares, expected Friday. Reports out Monday suggest the offering may close on Tuesday due to popularity.
According to Bloomberg, Facebook is planning a $10.6 billion launch with shares expected to price at anywhere from $28 to $35. Any increase in that range would happen following the receipt of final orders Tuesday.
Many Wall Street firms will benefit following the offering, including such big names as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Citi.
