- Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: VRTX) high of $65.37. Earlier Monday, JPMorgan upgraded Vertex from Neutral to Overweight. Shares moved 5.4 percent to the new mark.
- Medivation (Nasdaq: MDVN) high of $88.00. Medivation higher as Citi added shares to its "Top Picks Live" list. The stock moved about 6 percent higher to its new level.
- NextEra Energy (NYSE: NEE) high of $65.94. NextEra moved slightly higher Monday as Baird upgraded the stock from Neutral to Outperform.
- Nokia (NYSE: NOK) low of $3.01. Nokia low but still above the $3 level following Societe Generale cutting the stock to Sell from Hold and moving its price target from €3 to €1.80. Shares off nearly 6 percent following the call.

- Silver Wheaton Corp. (NYSE: SLW) low of $25.00. Silver Wheaton down following earnings. The metal producer reported first-quarter 2012 EPS of 41 cents on revs of $199.6 million, missing views calling for EPS of 44 cents and revs of $210 million.
- Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY) low of $19.02. Best Buy released results of an investigation into former CEO Brian Dunn's conduct. Preliminary data from the report said, "The CEO violated Company policy by engaging in an extremely close personal relationship with a female employee that negatively impacted the work environment."
Shares are off 1.4 percent to the new low.
