Sterne Agee Upgrades US Airways Group (LCC) to Buy Amid Lower Fuel Costs, Better Domestic Yields

Sterne Agee's Jeffrey Kauffman upgraded shares of US Airways Group (NYSE: LCC) from Neutral to Buy Monday morning. The analyst's price target was boosted from $14 to $18.

The analyst cited a recent decline in fuel prices and better-than-expected domestic yields, however also mentioned a belief the company has a "reasonable" chance in an eventual offer to merge with AMR (OTC: AAMRQ).

Elsewhere in the Airline sector, Kauffman also downgraded JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) shares to Neutral this morning.
