Needham & Company maintains a 'Strong Buy' on Summer Infant (NASDAQ: SUMR) price target of $10.00.

Analyst, Sean McGowan, said, "We expect SUMR’s gross margins to show an increase of 140 bps in 1Q, and we expect operating margins to expand 250 bps, leading to EPS of $0.13 vs. $0.11 (which excluded $0.04 in one-time charges)."

"We acknowledge that major juvenile product retailers continue to manage inventories tightly, and US births remain at unusually low levels. Still, we believe SUMR has been able to buck these trends by gaining market share and broadening its customer base. We expect the balance of the year to show solid growth, and as this growth becomes evident, we expect that the stock will better reflect the strong long-term prospects that we see for SUMR."
