This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARNA) high of $7.01. Arena moving just over 90 percent higher on the session following an FDA committee backing for its lorcaserin weight loss drug.

    According to the release: "the US FDA Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 18 to 4, with one abstention, that the available data demonstrate that the potential benefits of lorcaserin outweigh the potential risks when used long-term in a population of overweight and obese individuals."

  • Dillard's Inc. (NYSE: DDS) high of $72.47. Dillard's reported first-quarter EPS of $1.89 on revs of $1.55 billion, versus EPS of $1.67 and revs of $1.53 expected on the Street. Comps were up 5 percent in the quarter.

    Dillard's shares moved 9.5 percent higher to the new mark Friday.

  • Repros Therapeutics (Nasdaq: RPRX) high of $7.79. Repros moving higher again Friday on gobs of volume news the company and the FDA reached an agreement on the Androxal registration program. Shares gained 31.5% Thursday.

    Volume is about 25 times the trailing three-month average, with over 2 million shares traded.
52-Week Low:
  • Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide (Nasdaq: QTWW) low of $0.41. Quantum Fuel Systems reported its CEO and Chairman resigned. For more color, click here.

  • Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) low of $19.23. Best Buy lower as Credit Suisse downgraded the Company from Outperform to Neutral, trimming its price target from $32 to $20 in the process. Shares dipped 3.6 percent in the process.

  • MEMC Electronic Materials (Nasdaq: WFR) low of $2.35. Solars lower overall on drops in polysilicon prices, but MEMC is continuing lower following light first-quarter numbers issued after the market closed Wednesday.
