Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.21 per share, or $0.84 annualized. This is a 16.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.18.

The dividend will be payable on June 12, 2012, to stockholders of record on May 29, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of May 24, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.2 percent.
