TD Securities Downgrades Talisman Energy (TLM) to Buy; Uncertainties Mounting, But Valuation Is Still Compelling

TD Securities downgraded Talisman Energy (NYSE: TLM) from Action-List Buy to Buy, price target lowered from $18 to $17.

Analyst, Menno Hulshof, said, "Talisman Energy held its annual Investor Day in New York. There was little to cause us to reconsider our investment thesis; we continue to believe that TLM represents good value at current levels. That said, given recent North Sea operational challenges, the near-term outlook is arguably a little cloudy. We are, therefore, removing it from the Action List and lowering
our rating."
