SodaStream (SODA) Smashes Street's Q1 Views; Raises FY12 Outlook

Shares of SodaStream (Nasdaq: SODA) are now up nearly 20 percent in Wednesday's pre-market session following absolutely blow out first-quarter results and FY12 guidance which was raised.
After closing Tuesday's session at $29.19, SODA shares are now trading above $35.
The company reported quarterly earnings of 55 cents per share on sales of $87.9 million. Analysts on the Street were looking for EPS of just 36 cents on sales of $56.78 million.
SodaStream also boosted its FY12 sales growth guidance from 28 percent to 33 percent and its net income growth outlook from 42 percent to 50 percent. The growth implies full-year sales of about $384.4 million. The Street is currently expecting FY12 sales of $336.3 million.
