Priceline.com (PCLN) Looks Across the Pond for a Deal
Reports out today suggest that Priceline.com (NASDAQ: PCLN) is looking to takeover Trainline.com, an online rail ticket service in England. Trainline was put up for sale recently by its owner, Exponent Private Equity.
Reports say several other firms are vying for ownership in Trainline, including private equity firm Kohlber Kravis Roberts (NYSE: KKR) and a Canadian pension fund.
Shares of pricline.com are off 1.5 percent in early trading on Tuesday.
