Radian Group (RDN) Options Active, Volatility Higher into Fourth-Straight Losing Session

Radian Group Inc. (NYSE: RDN) are seeing some some exceptional volatility as well as option activity on its move lower Thursday.
Market data shows option volume over the last 10-day average is about 9 times greater. In addition, implied volatility is up 28 percent on the session and 161 percent above its historical average over the last year.
Shares are off about 9.5 percent. The short-sale rule is also in effect for Radian.
This will be the fourth-straight session of losses for Radian following its quarterly report on Tuesday, which produced a GAAP loss of $1.28 per share.
