UBS maintains a 'Buy' on RenaissanceRe Holdings (NYSE: RNR) price target raised from $83 to $88.
Analyst, Brian Meredith, said, "1Q12 EPS of $2.98, above UBSe of $2.35 and consensus $2.48...Top line growth benefits from pricing and growth at Lloyds...Strong alternative investments, but weather&risk unit posts more losses...We are increasing our 2012E EPS to $9.00 (prior $8.22), primarily reflecting the 1Q12 earnings upside surprise."
