Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Annaly Capital Management (NYSE: NLY) price target of $16.50
Analyst, Bill Carcache, said, "Excluding the impact of unrealized gains and losses on interest-rate swaps, Annaly reported 1Q12 EPS of $0.54 per share, slightly ahead of our estimate of $0.52 and consensus of $0.48. The $0.02 beat relative to our estimates was driven by lower-than expected realized losses on interest-rate swaps. NLY cut its dividend by $0.02 in 1Q12 from $0.57 to $0.55 (as previously announced). Consensus is looking for another $0.03 cut next quarter."
