Harris Corp. (HRS) Tops Q3 EPS by 6c; Tightens FY12 EPS Range, Guides FY13

Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) reported Q3 EPS of $1.39, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $1.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.48 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.48 billion.

Harris Corp. sees FY2012 EPS of $5.15-$5.25, versus prior guidance of $5.10-$5.30 and the consensus of $5.14.

Initial GAAP guidance for fiscal 2013 for income from continuing operations is a range of $5.10 to $5.30 per diluted share. Revenue for fiscal 2013 is expected to be about flat to 2 percent growth compared with fiscal 2012.
