Gainers
- United States Natural Gas (NYSE: UNG) up 1.63 percent to $15.03. Natural gas bouncing ahead of inventory data Thursday, as speculators attempt to keep it above the $2 level.
- Market Vectors Agribusiness ETF (NYSE: MOO) up 1.73 percent to $52.25. The sector being aided by Mosaic (NYSE: MOS), which earlier said it sees fourth-quarter volume at the upper-end of previously issued guidance for both potash and phosphates. Mosaic cited strengthening global demand. Shares are 4.5 percent better Wednesday.
- Technology Select Sector SPDR (NYSE: XLK) up 2.41 percent to $29.69. Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL).
- iShares Silver Trust (NYSE: SLV) down 1.84 percent to $29.38. Investors might be positioning ahead of the FOMC rate decision. Overall, silver prices have performed well in 2012 amid markets that went up through March, seeing some pullback on profit taking in April.
- PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bullish (NYSE: UUP) down 0.05 percent to $21.93. The dollar is also weak as investors eschew the typically safe haven asset for risk in the wake of better corporate earnings.
