Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) shares are continuing lower following its first-quarter earnings report, issued after the market closed Monday. After losing 14 percent Tuesday, the stock is down an additional 5 percent today.
Notably, Netflix implied volatility is also higher, up about 14 percent on the session to 58.4 percent. That's in-line with its annual historical average.
At today's trading range in the low-$80s, Netflix is virtually flat for 2012, having last been at this level on January 6th. Netflix started 20102 at $70.28, so it still has a ways to go for a loss on the year.
