Autonation, Inc. (AN) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c; New Vehicle Sales Up 8%

Autonation, Inc. (NYSE: AN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.56, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.66 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.54 billion.

AutoNation's new vehicle unit sales increased 8% on a same store basis and 10% overall.
