Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) Shares Tumble Following Q1 Results

Shares of Buffalo Wild Wings (Nasdaq: BWLD) fell as much as 8 percent in mid-day trading following Q1 earnings which came out earlier than expected.

The company reported a quarterly profit of 98 cents per share on sales of $251.1 million. Same-store sales rose 9.2 percent at company-owned restaurants.

Bdubs said Q2-to-date same-store sales have been up 6.7 percent at company-owned sites. The company affirmed a FY12 target of 20 percent earnings growth.

The stock has bounced modestly following the knee jerk lower. Shares last traded at $79.40, down more than 4 percent for the session.
