American Electric Power Co., Inc. (NYSE: AEP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.47 per share, or $1.88 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on June 8, 2012, to stockholders of record on May 10, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of May 8, 2012.
