Compass Point upgraded Diebold (NYSE: DBD) from Neutral to Buy, price target raised from $40 to $45.

Analyst, Douglas Greiner, said, "Due to the recent 6% pullback and ahead of Q1 2012 results, we are upgrading our rating to Buy. Further, in anticipation of continued FSS strength, we are raising our EPS estimates for 2012 to $2.50 ($2.45 previously) and for 2013 to $2.90 ($2.77 previously). Based on our higher EPS estimates, our revised price target is $45. Given strength across the ATM industry, we find Diebold's heavy ATM exposure (75% of total revenue) particularly attractive. Within Security (21% of total revenue), Diebold is steadily building a reputation for having an expertise in creative integrated electronic security solutions and we expect related growth to offset weakness in physical security."
