KeyBanc initiates coverage on Allison Transmission (NYSE: ALSN) with a Hold.
Analyst, Brett D. Hoselton, said, "ALSNis the world's largest manufacturer of fully-automatic transmissions for medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles with proprietary technology and a dominant market share position in core end markets. The Company is led by a solid and experienced management team, with an average industry experience of 22 years and an average of 17 years with the Company...Revenue outlook appears tempered as while we still expect a gradual recovery in North American Commercial Vehicle production (40% of sales), near-term momentum appears to have slowed. Headwinds could persist in several of the other end markets as: 1) Military spending is declining; 2) Hybrid bus sales are expected to contract; and 3) near-term natural gas drilling appears to be deteriorating."
