GARP Research maintains a 'Neutral' on TD Ameritrade (NASDAQ: AMTD) price target of $18.00.
Analyst, Seth Dadds, said, "AMTD looks reasonable at 11x our FY14 EPS estimate, but we’re uninspired by the 10% annualized EPS growth we see over the next three years. Our Neutral rating is largely influenced by our lackluster view of online brokers, which we think face continued headwinds should the record low interest rate environment prevail. To be sure, AMTD should be well-positioned when rates climb. With some quarterly exceptions, it’s been racking up net new assets at a double-digit annualized clip (generally outpacing market leader Schwab), yet we believe it still has less than 30% of its clients’
wallet.
