This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

- eBay Inc. (Nasdaq: EBAY) high of $41.84. After the market closed Wednesday, eBay reported first-quarter EPS of 55 cents and revs of $3.28 billion, versus Street views calling for EPS of 52 cents and revs of $3.15 billion. For more color on the quarter, click here.
eBay ripped over 16 percent to the new mark.
- Mellanox Technologies (Nasdaq: MLNX) high of $65.12. Mellanox reported first-quarter 2012 EPS of 51 cents and revs of $88.7 million, trumping views calling for EPS of 34 cents and revs of $81.6 million. Shares popped about 50 percent to the new mark today.
- The Travelers Co.'s (NYSE: TRV) high of $62.44. Travelers posted first-quarter EPS of $2.01 on revs of $6.39 billion, topping views calling for earnings of $1.52 per share and revenue of $5.71 billion. The firm also boosted its quarterly dividend 12.2 percent to 46 cents per share.
- VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) high of $118.78. VMWare getting a boost from, yep, you guessed it, earnings. For its first-quarter, VMWare reported EPS of 66 cents and revs of $1.06 billion, besting views calling for EPS of $59 cents and revs of $1.03 billion.
Looking ahead, VMWare sees Q2 revs of $1.10 to $1.12 billion. The consensus is $1.11 billion.
Fiscal 2012 revenues are expected to be in the range of $4.525 and $4.625 billion, an increase of 20 percent to 23 percent from 2011, and annual license revenues are expected to grow between 12 percent and 16 percent. The revenue consensus is $4.57 billion.
- Nokia Corp. (NYSE: NOK) low of $3.79. Nokia reported first-quarter loss of €0.08 per share, from profit of €0.09 per share reported in the same period last year. Revenue fell 29 percent from €10.399 billion to €7.354 billion. For an overview of the quarter, click here.
- Gentex Corp. (Nasdaq: GNTX) low of $21.30. Gentex reported first-quarter earnings of 32 cents per share on revs of $290.7 million, compared with views calling for EPS of 32 cents and revs of $294.1 million.
Shares were hit 16 percent on the session.
- Houston American Energy Corp (AMEX: HUSA) low of $1.97. Houston American down about 44 percent after reporting that a determination has been made to cease efforts to test and complete the C7 and C9 formations in the Tamandua #1 sidetrack well. Despite favorable Logging-While-Drilling logs, cased-hole logs and mudlog shows, it was determined that continued investment in testing and completion is inadvisable at this time possibly due to formation damage while drilling.
- Apollo Group Inc. (Nasdaq: APOL) low of $. Earlier, Apollo disclosed that it had been contacted by the Division of Enforcement of the SEC requesting documents and information relating to certain stock sales by company insiders and the filing of our Form 8-K on February 28, 2012 in which it announced that new degreed enrollment growth at University of Phoenix was less than previously expected. The company stated: "We have robust policies and procedures regarding insider trading and we intend to fully and voluntarily cooperate with the SEC. We cannot predict the eventual scope or outcome of this preliminary investigation."
