Compass Point reiterates a 'Buy' on eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) price target of $46.00.

Analyst, Douglas Greiner, said, "Driven by top line strength, this quarter's EPS of $0.55 exceeded our expectations of $0.53 and the $0.52 consensus. We are revising our 2012 EPS estimate to $2.35 ($2.29 previously) and our 2013 estimate to $2.72 ($2.64 previously). Our revised forecast reflects an improved Marketplaces outlook with GMV growth of 6.5% (5.4% previously) through 2013 and a modestly higher Payments margin forecast this year...PayPal continues to benefit from new registered accounts and increasing On eBay penetration. The offline Merchant Services opportunity is a meaningful upcoming catalyst expanding PayPal's target market from $500B to $10T adding in the range of $0.05 to EPS per point of share gained."
