People\'s United Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: PBCT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.16 per share, or $0.64 annualized. This is a 1.6% increase from the prior dividend of $0.1575.

The dividend will be payable on May 15, 2012, to stockholders of record on May 1, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of April 27, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 5 percent.
