The Board of Directors of Stage Stores, Inc. (NYSE: SSI) has appointed Michael Glazer as permanent President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Glazer has served as a Director of the Company since August 2001. On March 28, 2012, he was appointed President and CEO on an interim basis.
Further, Mr. Glazer has tendered his resignation as President and CEO of Mattress Giant Corporation, following the sale of the company to Mattress Firm. As a result, he will be able to dedicate his efforts full-time to leading Stage Stores.
