Canaccord Genuity maintains a 'Hold' on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) price target raised to $28.00.

Analyst, Bobby Burleson, said, "We remain HOLD rated on shares of Intel based on our view that the PC recovery may stall in Q3 following a better than seasonal H1. While Intel should benefit from ramps for Ivy Bridge and Romley as well as HDD supply improvement, we believe back-to-school is likely to disappoint on delayed purchasing ahead of late Q3 Win8 launch. We prefer to play AMD (NYSE: AMD) for stable PCs in 2012 (following a rout for PCs in 2011) given its share gain prospects for notebooks (Llano and Trinity) and servers (growing off very low base), and view Intel's report as a positive catalyst for the semi group. We increase our estimates, introduce 2013 estimates, and increase our price target while reiterating our rating on weak Q2 gross margin guidance and risk to Q3 seasonality."
