Goldman Sachs Positive on IBM (IBM) Into Q1 Results

Goldman Sachs made positive comments on IBM (NYSE: IBM) ahead of first quarter earnings on Tuesday, April 17.

The firm expects solid results, with the potential for revenue, EPS, and guidance upside relative to their expectations and the consensus. IBM should also be able to post solid double-digit short-term and long-term services signings growth, the firm said.

Goldman is forecasting revenues and EPS of $24.72 billion and $2.63, which is
essentially in line with consensus of $24.77 billion and $2.65.

They maintained their Buy rating and $223 price target.
