Tractor Supply (Nasdaq: TSCO) reports Q1 sales of $1.02 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $937.36 million, expecting EPS of 53-55 cents including a gain of 9-11 cents per share, which compares to the Street estimate of 32 cents per share.
FY12 sales guidance raised from $4.56-$4.66 billion to $4.61-$4.68 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $4.65 billion. EPS move from $3.38-$3.46 to $3.52-$3.60, vs. the consensus estimate of $3.52. Same-store sales are expected to be up 4-5.5 percent, vs. prior guidance of 3-5 percent.
