UPDATE - Barclays initiates coverage on Sunstone Hotel Investors (NYSE: SHO) with an Equalweight rating. PT $11.
Analyst, Sule Sauvigne, said, "We believe Sunstone's assets position the company well for the current lodging cycle, and we are encouraged by the relatively new management team's greater focus on executing the corporate strategy. That said, our rating is driven by the limited near-term catalysts for the shares at this time. Over the long term, gradual delevering of the balance sheet plus strategic transactions should unlock further value, in our view."
