Deutsche Bank raised its price target on Buy-rated Citi (NYSE: C) from $36 to $40 citing less uncertainty over capital (reflecting the sales of several minority equity stakes) and higher better capital markets revenue.
"Our TP assumes a 10-15% discount to the overall group given more earnings volatility and as C is still building towards Basel 3 levels," the firm said.
